Shogun is a drag and drop ecommerce store builder. They’ve seen massive growth and needed better CMS structuring, intentional IA, and a visual design refresh.

I worked quickly over 4 weeks flow-mapping, organizing their IA, creating assets, templating key pages to be CMS-powered, and building the site to be adaptable for their full brand redesign later this year.

Nº1: The (then) new Shogun homepage 🎉 featuring white space, customer stories, straightforward visuals, and clear CTAs, all of which were pain points with their old site design

Nº2: Monoline geometric icon set
Nº3: Drag & drop; one of several minimalist product shots showcasing specific product features
Nº4: Homepage animation that plays on page-load nodding to Shogun’s UI; built entirely in Webflow 🙌🏼
Nº5: Blog cards for a blog that previously had no images
Nº6: Art directed illustration style; abstracted UI shapes, colorblocked secondary palette, shading and texture to bring a human touch to the blog; brought to life by the epic Hillary Degenkolb

Nº7: The new blog general page featuring category filters, illustrations, a ‘featured’ section and an overall branded look

Nº8: The new blog individual pages featuring category breadcrumb, social share, illustrations, a ‘continue reading’ section and an overall branded look

Nº9:  The new case study template pages fully built in the CMS for easy edits/additions by the content team

Nº10: A landing page design to house our new series of webinars
